Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) Flakes are a strong alkali used where potassium salts are preferred over sodium salts. Primarily used in liquid soap and soft soap manufacturing (as opposed to NaOH which makes solid soap), in alkaline batteries, and in specialty chemical applications.
